Review - OPI Sheer Tints

If you’re looking for something a little different for your nail polish, then might I recommend the OPI Sheer Tints.

Sheer Tints (ST) are very sheer jellie style polishes; they can be used for pretty much anything. You can wear them on their own,  layer them over other ST shades to create a new colour, or use them over your regular nail polish to create unique shades.
I found the polishes to be a little on the thick side, so I had to apply them thinly and wait a couple of minutes between layers when wearing them on their own. This isn’t a major problem if you’re wearing them over one of your regular nail polishes; you just treat it as a top coat. This may just be a problem with the mini sets, I’ve not used the full size bottles so couldn’t say what they’re like; I know from previous experience they can vary.

My current favourite is ‘Be Magentale with Me’ which is a sheer pink tint. This looks lovely over natural nails. One coat gives nails a healthy sheen, three coats provide a deeper pink tone.  The set also includes - I’m Never Amberrassed an amber yellow tint, Don’t Violet Me Down which is a sheer amethyst shade, and I Can Teal You Like Me a beautiful teal blue tint.

I’m very much looking forward to experimenting with these over the coming months. I have some ideas up my sleeve so make sure you look out for some ‘Nails of the Day’ posts.

Have you tried the OPI Sheer Tints? Which is your favourite?
