Boots Re-launch Vintage Skincare Collection to Celebrate the Queen's 90th Birthday

By the nation’s side: Boots UK celebrates 90 years of health and happiness

"Boots UK is proud to be an official partner of the Patron’s Lunch, with a shared ambition to support and create stronger communities across Britain. As one of the nation’s oldest pharmacy led health and beauty retailers, Boots UK is passionate about raising the health and happiness of communities.

Promising the nation ‘health for a shilling’, Boots UK has made health and beauty affordable and accessible for communities since its launch in 1849. From helping to glam up the girls with the founding of the No7 beauty range in 1935, protecting little ones in the summer sun with the launch of Boots Soltan in 1939 to the introduction of Ibuprofen in 1969. Boots UK continues to help people and communities feel good, every single day.

To celebrate, Boots UK is relaunching its Traditional Skin Care Collection. The limited edition vintage collection by Boots Skin Care specialists is a long standing favourite with customers.  The gift set includes:

 • Boots Traditional Skin Care Moisturising Cream (£3.05) enriched with Vitamin A and Vitamin E to nourish your skin leaving it soft and moisturised.
• Boots Traditional Skin Care Glycerin and Rosewater (£2.39) is a refreshing and cooling beautifier that softens and moisturisers skin.
• Boots Traditional Skin Care Cold Cream (£2.89) deeply cleanses and softens the skin, using essential ingredients."
The limited edition collection has been re-launched to commemorate the Queen's 90th birthday. It's a fabulous set and I'm super pleased to be given the chance to test them out and bring you my thoughts on them.

The set contains a Cold Cream which is ideal for cleansing and softening your face and hands. It is Lanolin-Free and dermatologically tested, and has been formulated and produced by Boots Skin Care specialists from traditional ingredients. I found the Cold Cream removed my makeup with ease, even my eye makeup! A Moisturising Cream helps to maintain the moisture balance of your skin, leaving it soft and smooth. This contains Vitamin A, natural Vitamin E and Pro-Vitamin B5. To use, apply a light amount over a cleansed face and neck, it soaks in super quickly. Lastly is the Glycerin and Rosewater, this is a cooling, refreshing water that softens and moisturizes the skin instantly. Again it is Lanolin-free and dermatologically tested. I really noticed the moisturizing benefits after just one use. My skin felt so lovely, I even applied this to my hands which is also recommended by Boots.

Each product is available to buy separately online or as a gift set  (£7.00) in selected London Boots stores from 8 June.
