Derma V10 'Blog in a Box'

The Derma V10 'Blog in a Box' set came as part of the goodies from the Suffolk Blogger Meet I attended last year. This lovely box has been designed by Derma V10 to encourage bloggers to test and review their products. Inside the box is 5
beauty products, from the 100+ range they currently sell on the high street. You can buy Derma V10 products from Home Bargains, Poundland, Savers, B&M Bargains, Bodycare and in some pharmacies. I have only ever bought well known brands from our local Poundland, and I'm pleased to be able to test run the products my box contains. The contents of my box consisted of Mango Body Butter, Moisturising Hand & Nail Cream, Moisturising Multi Radiance Cream, Deep Cleansing Nose Strips and Tea Tree Cleansing Wipes.
Mango Body Butter 220ml - This was the first product I opened from my box and I have to say I'm very impressed. The body butter is very thick in consistency, however on application is melts into the skin leaving it feeling hydrated and smelling wonderful.

Tea Tree Cleansing Wipes (25pk) - I'm not a big fan of cleansing wipes and sadly they didn't even hit the 'pre-cleanse makeup remover' spot for me. Although the packaging says they contain natural Tea Tree Oil, Aloe Vera and Peppermint I couldn't smell anything but Peppermint. The wipes felt very dry even though the packet was completely sealed. These won't go to waste, I'll use them to clean our little ladies toy dolls when they get dirty.

Deep Cleansing Nose Strips (6pk) - OMG how weird are these to use! I have never used nose strips so the whole experience was new to me! The Deep Cleansing Nose Strips were easy to use and I did notice my nose appeared slightly clearer where blackheads are concerned. I used one a week and for £1 these are definitely worth buying!

Moisturising Multi Radiance Cream 30ml - I have to be quite careful with skincare products, my skin can breakout easily.  I've therefore yet to take the plunge and try this out but from testing this out on the back of my hand it seems to be very nice. This cream contains SPF15 which is always a plus for moisturisers, as well as Vitamin B3 and Provitamin B5, Lemon and Pomegranate Extract.

Moisturising Hand & Nail Cream 75ml - Now for £1 I have to say this hand and nail cream is an absolute winner, I've used this non-stop!!! This hand and nail cream suits all skin types and has a heap of benefits. Not only does it help relieve dry chapped skin, it is extremely moisturising...aannddd it helps soften and condition your skin. Leaving your hands and nails looking and feeling great.

I would certainly say it's worth taking a look at these products when you are next in one of the stockists. For a £1 even if you don't get on with them your not wasting massive amounts of money on high end products xx

  1. So glad you've finally posted your 'blog post in a box' - especially as you had totally different products to me! I loved my cocoa butter, but will definitely be picking up this mango one if I see it - love smelling fruity in spring/summer. It's a shame the wipes were so disappointing though!
