Matte Navy Nails

 As you have probably guess by the title of today's post I have dug out the matte top coat from my stash. I haven't worn any blue on my nails for a while now so this is a nice change from the normal reds, pink, orange or nude option. The blue I've used today is by OPI and is the shade 'OPI...Eurso Euro'. I've painted on all of my nails. I do find with this colour, (which is probably why I don't reach for it often) it is a very runny thin consistency; therefore it needs three coats to give a perfect finish. Once the blue has dried I then applied OPI 'Pirouette My Whistle' which is a gorgeous glitter on my middle fingers, creating accent nails. Unlike alot of glitter polishes this has two sizes of glitter particles in making it very special. I've then carefully applied Orly Matte Top (a matte finish top coat) on the blue nails, leaving the glitter accents shiny. And there you have it, today's Nails Of The Day xx
