This is my newest (to date) Louis Vuitton handbag, purchased during a trip to Zurich in 2014. And I have so much love for this bag! The Marly BB is currently my all time favourite bag. Yes I know, I probably say this about all of my Louis’ at some time or other (hehe).

The Marly BB in my opinion is beautiful and functional all at the same time. What drew me to this bag initially was the style. I love the top handles and the fact it comes with a long detachable shoulder strap. Although it can be carried comfortably and fashionably by the top handles, I prefer most of the time to wear it across the body via the long strap. The leather is a grained Epi leather, which I believe is the oldest style leather Louis Vuitton produces. While on the topic of the leather, lets not forget the colour of this stunning bag. It’s called Pistache, which is a sort of green-yellow. In some lights it looks more yellow than green, in other lights it looks more green than yellow; regardless of which it’s bright and eye-catching. Inside you’ll find the super soft microfibre lining, as well as an zipper pocket, and a double smartphone pocket. To open and close the Marly BB you’ll find a press button on each gusset, and magnetic closure system. The hardware of this bag is different to those I purchased before. It’s a Palladium finished Brass; Palladium being part of the Platinum family of metals. The press buttons, key holder, zip, and studs on the bottom of the Marly BB are all in the Palladium finished Brass. I personally think the colours work wonderfully well together!
The Louis Vuitton Marly BB is available in 7 colours and is sized 12.6 x 7.5 x 5.1 inches (LxHxW). Louis Vuitton also produces a Marly MM which comes in 7 colours and is sized 17.7 x 10.6 x 6.7 inches (LxHxW).
