Oh how I love this time of year, the mulled wine...the warm cosy clothes and let's not forget the celebrations. December is a very busy time of year for our family, with numerous Birthdays to celebrate (including my husband and daughter) as well as Christmas and New Year. The winter months always draws me to the red shades in my nail polish collection, this in turn lead me to this weeks 'Nails of the day' post.
For this look I have used Essie Nail Polish in 'Skirting the Issue' and China Glaze 'Glitter all the way'. I have started as I always do with my OPI Start to Finish base and top coat. I've then painted all of my nails in the Essie polish. When applying the second coat of colour I've missed out my index fingers as these are going to be my accent nails. For my accent nails I've applied a coat of the glittery China Glaze polish. Finishing with (you've guessed it) the OPI Start to Finish base and top coat.
Love the sparkly accent!
